Please!!!

Well, it has been a very rough couple weeks for me, but I think I am now over the hurdle. After coming back from the Sedona Art Fair (Oct 10th – 11th) I came down with a severe respiratory infection. Originally i was not diagnosed with h1n1, but a week later it became obvious that the 50% test i was given was, well, only 50% accurate… go figure. This thing is nothing to mess with. If you show symptoms, don’t wait, go in and get the appropriate medicines, which in my case were antibiotics, steroids to help clear my lungs, mucinex DM, and doses of ibuprofen… oh yeah, and lots of jello! After wavering back and forth with an off and on fever for 2 weeks, I feel like I am finally arriving at the end of what has clearly been my worst flu ever.

Thank you for all the well wishes I have received, and to all of my customers… I am finally about to head back into the studio! If you have been waiting on orders from me, you can expect them to ship out over the coming week. As I finish getting well this weekend I will be focusing on getting some long overdue updates done on the site… including new products that only my art fair customers have had a chance to see so far!

So thanks once again for your support, and be on the lookout for some beautiful new things… and please stay healthy!

Festival Sept 25-27.

Well it appears that the festival season is definitely upon me, and starting much earlier this year. Instead of just 1 or 2 events, I got into all 4 shows that I applied to for Fall/Winter. So it looks like it’s going to be a mad rush with a show every month for the rest of the year… hopefully we can keep up! If you happen to live anywhere near Albuquerque, NM, then I hear the GO! Festival on Gold Ave is the place to be next weekend.

I hope to see you there! – Jeff

PS… Here’s some new Spiral Wave Margaritas that were just added to the store, I hope you like them :)

I finally finished the first run of custom glasses for the Kirkland Museum of Fine and Decorative Art in Denver, CO. These glasses are based on Vance Kirkland’s “Open Sun” paintings and features over 700 radiating circles on every glass. Not easy to produce, but stunning results! These custom Iced Tea and Double Old Fashioned glasses were commissioned by the Kirkland Museum who holds an exclusive sales agreement. So if you are interested in purchasing any please contact the Kirkland Museum’s Gift Shop to place an order at 303.832.8576 x200, or email Katrina Boldry at kboldry@kirklandmuseum.org.

PS… Frosted and Inlayed versions of these glasses will be done next week… and the museum doesn’t even know it yet, but I created a sweet set of champagne flutes for them as well. ;)

Expect to see them all in the next few days!

Big News Coming Soon!!!

Oh what the heck… how about I just tell you… I have been commissioned by the Kirkland Museum of Fine and Contemporary Art to develop a line of glasses based on the work of Vance Kirkland to be sold from their museum shop and online store! This is one of the finest contemporary art museums in the country, so I consider this a great honor and I am looking forward to having these glasses available for sale by the end of July. The prototypes came out stunning (see a quick snap below), but look for some final photos here as soon as the new line is completed.

Back in a couple weeks!
